What about INSURANCE? Didn't you have it? I would guess that they totaled a 10 year old car also in that wreck. You are just asking for more trouble if you continue to drive it. You don't give any information on condition previous to accident but my guess would be average at best and with a "tight, tight budget" I would guess it needed a fair amount of work, tires, cleaning etc. so the car was worth at best about $6k. You would spend at least half that just to straighten the frame, replace the air bags and replace the radiator. You would still need to do body and paint plus fix the engine code. Only one thing to say here; DUMP IT, GET RID OF IT, buy something for a couple thousand and be safe. More so, think of the other person you may save. Also, from your description, you might have been at fault in this accident or you wouldn't be in the boat your in. DO NOT DRIVE IT.
