There is no oil on the dipstick and my engine wont start although i can hear the fuel pump prime. Is this because of the oil pressure switch stopping the flow of fuel?

It makes no difference what the cause is. STOP attempting to start your engine until you put oil in it

I don't know if that engine has a low-oil pressure/quantity shut-off or not. I don't know GM very well. But please take my advice above

I can also hear the fuel pump but there is no pressure at the test nipple. I just put oil in it, no luck.

Two QTS but that's not the issue... I have a blue spark and gas is getting the shrader sometimes but it sounds like the timing jumped or something.

You gotta check fuel pressure. Not just if it's there.

I have zero oil pressure on my Chevy Blazer. It's a 99 with a 4.3lt. engine. I just put oil in it.
