2001 blazer want ideal

My fuel pump runs the entire time I crank my
blazer it ideals at 1 for less than a min then the
needle drops down completely causing my blazer
to die

Is your service engine soon light on? If it is and you're getting an overly rich air to fuel mixture trouble code I would check the spider fuel injector assembly. Also check the EGR valve. An EGR valve that's stuck open will cause a no idle, poor idle, or even a no start condition. Hope that helps! Jim
