I have a 91 s-10 p/u..it is leaking anti-freeze from above the lower hose where it goes into the engine. I've replaced the intake manifold gasket a year ago, but now it is leaking bad from this spot.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is this where the water pump is, or is this another gasket problem. I replaced the hose and have checked the tightness numerous times.

the water pump on a 4.3 is behind the fan,as for where the hoe connects to goose neck,is alluimun,it could be cracked from all the tightening you been doing.

There is a small preformed hose on to of the water pump that connects to the front of the intake this could be the source of he leak.
