2001 Chevy Blazer overheating

Asked by vicclimb Jul 07, 2012 at 11:16 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door 4WD

Question type: General

My intake manifold was leaking coolant while on a
roadtrip, I took it to a shop to have it replaced which
they did. Now when at highway speeds the truck
overheats. It never overheated prior to having the
intake manifold gasket changed. The shop has since
been trying to figure out what's causing the
overheating. They have changed the thermostat &I
flushed the system, but it still overheats.
