what is wrong with my blazer

I have 2001 chevy blazer, when I go to start it , it tries to crank, when I let go of
the key it acts like it start but dying out. Put in new starter, ignition, checked coil,  
new cap,

First try squirting some starting fluid down the throttle body or a little gas and see if it fires off. If it does then probably the fuel pump, but would want to check the fuel pressure before replacing.
