It's usually best to go with what the vehicle was designed for , there's no cheap way to do it

Apparently I was misunderstood. I want to replace the 4.3lte OBD1 T.B.I. with another 4.3 Ltr. MOTOR ONLY can I use the different engine using the TBI & MANIFOLD?

1994 and older. 1996 and newer is OBD II. 1995 could be either OBD I or OBD II so stay away from a 95 engine unless you can determine FOR SURE it's OBD I. Hope that helps! Jim
