will a chevy s10 v6 pull a 3500lb trailer

Don't go over 3500 total weight, which would include the weight of the trailer itself.
Why can't you pull anything over 3,500 lb this specs as 5200
5200 lbs is what my manual says in my 2000 GMC Sonoma (an S10 clone). 3500 lbs is no problem whatsoever!
Will my 98 model step side s10 tow a 3500 camper?

My 99-Chevy Blazer,2-door,2-wheel drive can easily tow approximately 4000 lbs.I’ve never needed to exceed that weight. It day I can tow everything including my A-Frame travel trailer- 4500 lbs,I usually end up towing(Camping)3000-35000 lbs.Yrailer weights 2000 lbs.not including water or othe things, have to add the tongue weight, propane tanks etc.
2000 zr2 blazer, 17' camp trailer, pulled it okay, at 50-60 mph, trailer weight owned the blazer, i hit 70mph on flat ground floored, on corner trailer swayed from low tires, unstoppable, UN controllable at that point, turned into a lagoon ride, flew my blazer around like nothing and tipped over twisting the trailer tongue around and leaving me hanging 4' in the air still hooked to the ball!! trailer was smashed, the spare tire holder come un latched and ripped the whole front of that trailer while spinning around, completely destroyed that trailer and me spare holder... mostly the trailer though. complete loss, 100%, the blazer drove away from it? had to reset the body bolts because it shifted the whole body to the left!!! so id say buy a fucking truck.
