how is it my s-10 pickup will not blow from the upper vents

There is a vacuum assisted vent actuator that controls which vents the air blows out of. Check the following thread. It should have what you're looking for: http://www.justanswer.com/chevy/58ukc-1995-s10-blazer-vent-actuator-i-air-only-defroster.html
