Oldfuel pump head 3 wires the new fuel pump has four wires is that correct and how do I install that

1997 chevy S 10 old fuel pump had three wires when I pulled it out the new fuel
pump has 4 wires and I don't know how to connect it

The new pump comes with a pigtail you splice in. It's an updated connector they switched to.
