Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am using my 98 s-10 as a work truck. I added air bags and am wondering what size tires can I go to in a LT series and don't have to buy new rims? Original tires are P205 75/R15.

No true. The higher your first number (the width) you go, the lower your second number needs to be. The second number is your height *ratio*. My rule of thumb is this: for every 10 cm in width, drop 5 in the ratio. thats if you want your speedo to be close to accurate. if you go say 225/75R15, your speedometer would be prolly about 10% behind the actual speed because your tires are taller. The biggest you could go width-wise would probably be 225, without rubbing.
