Before you change a fuel regulator. Whats the fuel pressure at the fuel rail? 2.2 engine 41-47 psi engine OFF....31-44 psi. engine running...Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.

with the key on its about 46 psi, turn off the key the pressure drops down to 0 in about 10-15 minutes. engine running its about 36 psi just want to know where fuel regulator is at, I cant find it?

Small canister(mounted on intake manifold) with a metal tube for the vacuum hose to connect, located right next to the distributor . LOOK close can't miss it.

I think I found it. does the hose goes to the top of the carburetor? I start up the truck & when I take off that hose gas comes out, but when I put it back on the truck dies.
