No fuel to engine after changing in line fuel filter

Asked by Robertoer Dec 05, 2016 at 10:47 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed out fuel  filter a day ago it was starting
and running good. Now it does not want to start.
Fuel pressure about 48 psi. Will start if I gas  in
intake. Checked Schrader valve  just before engine
and gas sprays out . Looked at fuses and can't see
any burnt. What fuse -relay would I be looking for
to control injectors?

Which engine do you have? 48 psi isn't enough to fire off a 4.3

Need 65 psi to start. Whatever it is its in fuel tank you're losing fuel somewhere
