Spits and sputters on acceleration

What would make my 1999 Chevy S10 4.3 spit and
sputter on acceleration but idle fine

The person I bought the truck from its app for 3 years and he said he replaced the cap and rotors and plugs before it's the gas lines in the brake lines went bad in it and I replaced all that it ran fine until just the other day and it started doing it so maybe that could be it I don't know though but I do have to replace my intake manifold gasket upper and lower so I don't know if that would be causing the problem or not
