They are mounted before and after the Catalytic Converter. If its a 4 cylinder it will have one or two before Catalytic Converter in exhaust manifold and one after the Catalytic Converter in exhaust pipe. If its the 4.3L V-6, there will be 2 before Catalytic Converter in the exhaust manifolds since there is two manifolds, one each side of engine there is two and also after the Catalytic Converter there is another one in the exhaust pipe
