Car won't start

Asked by Jerry Sep 03, 2015 at 09:50 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After replacing parts inside the steering wheel after coming loose I've tried to
start it and suddenly smoke came out when trying to start it, could it be the
ignition cylinder?

you are going to have to pull it back apart there is a positive wire that is pinched and grounded out in the steering wheel.
