What would be the approx. cost for getting an AC fixed...I am looking at an S10 and the guy says the air went out and doesnt work anymore.

Depends on what is going to be fixed, did the compressor die and needs to be changed or just a refrigerant charge, Details, Details, Details....

Sorry I don't have too may details right now. The guy is at work still. But what would be the ballpark cost if the compressor died vs. a charge. Thanks alot, I know I don't have too many details right now, your help is greatly appreciated

joemon is right... we are really happy to help but without knowing what is wrong, compressor replacement is about $600.. charge up with R134a about $200 http://www.napaautocare.com/estimator.aspx#

I have a 1995 S10LS V6TBI engine in it. I am having a problem with the air conditioner blower motor. When you turn it on. it may or may not work and blow air for you. You can feel the cold air at the vent. but no blower to get it into the cab. I have already replaced the blower switch and it didn't help. I have a 1987 Chevy Pickup with a crate engine. I start it and it runs for about 15 -20 seconds and then shuts off. I have replace the air intake hoses, fuel lines, fuel filter.
