93 octane fuel...advance the timing to 7degrees btc (if you can without knockin') shut of the air conditioning~ be sure the engine reaches operating temperature~
Exhaust will help some. Try long headers with new larger exhaust pipes, less restrictive catalytic converter, and mufflers. That may add from 10 to 15 hp. This is according to the people that sell that stuff and tests by car magazines. You may look at different injectors and ignition. You may want to look into what it costs for a more aggressive cam shaft. That may work also to bump up the HP. That should get you to the 40+ hp goal: but with more hp, you gots-ta feed the ponies. So your gas cost will go up. My grandaddy always said, "The more horses you gets, the more food yas gots-ta to feed them."
Oh yes, your truck will run better if you put the wheels on the ground and not the roof. Hi Judge-Roy. This is a great entry that is enjoyable to answer. No EE degree needed.
All I did was flip it right side up
