what do i need to get in order to change my 2001 chevy s10 4.3l v6 vortech
from an automatic to a slap stick

I don't know about the "slap stick" but you can have transmission shifter kits installed.

Are you trying to go to manual? Thats the worst idea ever. I did it in my 90 Mustang and it was a nightmare, nothing ever worked right, and it made me swear off manuals forever. Besides that, you have the 4L60E transmission, which is one of the best automatics made in the 90's. Just put in a Transgo shift kit and torque converter and it'll out perform any manual in every way.
