S10

Asked by Bdogg1311 Nov 19, 2016 at 01:19 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet S-10 LS LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

S10 won't start, but the lights will turn on.
Tried getting it to start lastnight, still didn't
wanna start. How do you get the starter to
start after not wanting to start.

1 Answer

Your not providing much info so... Is the starter engaging? if not possible starter needs replaced.. if it is engaging could be fuel issues... first thing to try would be take a rubber mallet an hit the bottom of the fuel tank in serveral different places an try to start if it runs fuel pump bad.. another thing on the starter would be to look an see that no wires are broken or loose ..
