2002 Chevy S 10 rear tail light

Asked by Zedwin Feb 15, 2019 at 08:55 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trying to fix a faulty rear tail light on my 2002 S10.  I've replaced one of the
three bulb sockets.  The other socket however only has two wires (vs three
wires on the one I replaced).  No one has a replacement 2 wire socket for a tail
light.  is this an after-market product or something else?

Have you checked Auto Zone or Advance Auto parts. They have a line of generic 'Help' parts. They should have a replacement.

Thanks guys. Looks like the #5 fuse in the cabin was the culprit all along. I had checked it and it looked good but replaced it and everything works fine now.
