my 2003 S10 headlights will not shut off when engine is not running.

It may be as simple as a broken switch. Buy one, try it and if it does not work, take it back. You have a positive charge going to your lights that starts from your switch. Check the other positions, and if set on manual, assuming you have the auto-turn off switch, it may be the switch. Also check and make sure your switch is set i the auto position. That has happened also.

Sounds like a 'Relay Switch" problem' ... Usually located under the hood! Check "You-Tube" for the location or ask a Chevy dealer.. Let us know, ok? Good Luck !
