Running hot

Truck running hot when I cut the air conditioning
on but will not run hot when air conditioning is off?

It takes a lot on a vehicle to work AC if the radiator is old or plugged up the heat produced could not be dissipated properly and overheat a car. Shrouds taken off, fans not working properly, pure antifreeze could also affect it.

First thing is first check the radiator for coolant level and if full move on to checking if you have electric cooling Fan's that they are working properly.
