Question type: General

I have 2003 S10 4.3 TBI with a blown motor. Im
putting in a 2006 4.3 MPI. My question is, will this
make the computer throw codes and effect ability
to run properly?

Are the connections the same? The motor came out of a 2006 full size pickup.

you may get away with changing out the injection systems and keep the same computer. Keep the TBI system with manifold and see if you can replace the multiport injection system with it. but I am not sure.

Only problem is, before I realized it had Mpi, i threw out the old motor. I guess I'm going to the parts yard and find intake and TBI to put back on it.
