Can i remove the the 10amp fuse to disable the 4 wheel drive on my 2001 chevy blazer 4.3 L/S 4 door?. Will this let me drive in 2 wheel drive only and be ok to drive like this all the time?

The Haynes manual states remove the bolts from the back of the steering wheel with a 7mm socket. I am not finding a 7mm bolt head.
