Check the fill tube.it sounds like it is problem. Look at hose to see if it is kinked.
sorry, don't know where the fill tube hose is, don't know much about cars or trucks, where do i look?

Should be able to see if you look through the rear wheel well.look on the side that gas lid is on.should be towards the front of rear wheel.
Evap line is plugged.. if there's no gas pissing out.. then there is a vent tube that runs up to your filling port.. it's blocked busted or leaking air.. is your check engine light on? Probably an Evap code? Also there is a trap door on the tank. If someone tried to syphon your gas lmao they may have buggered it..
according to the mechanic the charcoal canister is completely pluggged, he has to replace it. went thru some flood waters about a month ago pushing water with my bumper, the mechanic said some of the dirty water got sucked into the cannister.
Haha. Good glad to hear your fixed.. told u it was an Evap issue or vent. Really the same thing. As I said if your tank vent don't work then you can't release air causing air to build and force gas out. I've seen this too. Usually it's just a busted vent pipe. Yours was complex neat.. well neat to me I enjoy a problem. I'm sure you didn't.
