How do I change out my driver's side mirror w/assembly on my 2006 Dodge Dakota?

Asked by wjohnson17 Jul 22, 2016 at 07:28 PM about the 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab RWD

Question type: General

My mirror & the housing on the mirror were knocked off leaving a stub sticking out from the door of where the mirror & its housing were held. Does this stub also come out or how do I replace the mirror and surrounding housing on it? I have the 2 door + 2 utility door model

Ok, I will check out the replacement mirror & assembly when it comes and take it from there. I may be recontacting you if I get in a jam on this so please don't go away. Thanks.

Remove the door panel and there will be 3 10 mm nuts at each corner of the mirror don't forget to unplug it
