Problems with TURBO

Asked by james_dougherty Oct 30, 2012 at 08:51 PM about the 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 Turbo FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turbo won't kick aftr installation of ner clutch.  Turbo gauge will only  register vacuum and exhaust is loud.  Mechanic says there is no problem but i know  srt4 performance  capabilitiesto.  Is it possible that a vacuum hose is disconnected or a solonoid is bad?  Also, on light accellerarion the clutch "shudders" and I would appreciate your advice as to it's cause .

first and foremost are you running the stock TD04 turbine or something else? and are you on a stock wastegate or aftermarket? more than likely you have a leak from your hoses.. heres a diagram for all your hoses and solenoids http://www.srtforums.com/forums/f24/vacuum-line-setups-565729/
