With engine cranking, check voltage for fuel pump, dark green wire with black tracer. Use a test light. Check ground also, you don't need to crank it to check ground. The pump needs voltage and ground. There could be other issues. The asd relay supplies voltage to many systems, including the fuel pump. I'm not saying the relay is faulty. I believe the computer has to see a particular signal from a sensor or it won't ground the asd relay. W/o some testing, I can't be sure? That particular sensor is in the distributor. You need to do some testing and get back to us.
