Have a 94 Dodge 4X4 and want to buy a 97 4X4.  Can I exchange parts

For the most part yes, however, when swapping I would refer to the owners manual of each, online, or something like a Chilton's manual to ensure that the part numbers are correct. Of course, if the 94 is a V6 and the 97 is a V8 and vice versa, you may also encounter some issues with swapping, likewise, on an auto vs manual transmission. Best of luck!
