Car ran out of gas. Wont start. Changed fuel filter.
Hear fuel pump but still not getting gas.

Fuel pump may be working but maybe dirt have collected in the fuel line pulled in when the car ran out of gas. Disconnect the fuel line going to the fuel filter and check to see if fuel comes out.
