Why won't my radiator cooling fan stop running?

I changed the engine temperature sensor and the thermostatically controlled fan. Still don't know why it continually runs even when engine has reached normal operating temperature. It running robs the engine of alot of HP.

Actually, an electric fan does not rob an engine of HP because it doesnt use the engines energy to run. The alternator charges whenever needed, so you wouldnt lose HP there, as it is always belt driven. Most electric fans run constantly because the engine is always generating heat while running
unless you added electric fans these trucks come with clutch fans. some of them can go bad normally it kicks on and off.
Sorry, but a possibly electrical problem that a mechanic needs to check out. The fans in my car seldom come on except in the high heat of the summer. Please have a mechanic look into this. Best regards.
This problem has been resolved, it was a faulty clutch fan from brand new.
