i have a dodge ram 1500 with a 5.2 v8 it has a dead spot in the throttle and now over drive does not work

I change  the oil pump and the rod under the distributer that runs the pump and now I got a dead spot in the throttle that was not there before and now it wont shift into over drive and it has a loud vacuum noise when I hit the throttle what could it be

It sounds like avacuum line is cracked or not put back on, that is a dead givaway, dead spot and the hiss, check all around where the distributor is back there
