1996 Dodge Ram won't start

Asked by Jbrad1124 Aug 29, 2020 at 05:47 PM about the 1996 Dodge RAM 1500 ST Club Cab LB RWD

Question type: General

96 Dodge Ram 1500. No fire. Check engine
light comes on for split second and then goes
off. Replace coil, ignition, pulled sensors, fuel
pump,   I have seen others with same issue
but no fix solutions.  I need help?

Don't know. OBD scanner won't sync up with truck. We have 2 different scanners and neither work. They power up but says can't communicate with computer

It doesn't seem to be getting fire. Tested plugs, bought new coil but it doesn't seem that the coil is getting power to it. One video said look at check engine light and see if it stays on. Mine comes on for a split second and then goes off
