I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2x4

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2x4  5.2 part truck
wanted to put the Tran in a 1996 Dodge Ram
1500 4x4 5.2 wondering if I’m going to have
issues with the output shaft?

its a No Brainer. You Need a 4x2 transmision. 4x4 is different. It has gears for driving another axle for front wheels, while 4x2 has only rear drive shaft for rear axle.
