1996/1997 fuel pump and filter are in the tank. Not an easy job to do. As always the truck manufacturer puts the parts in an inconvenient place to work with. It's under the truck bed near the back side of the driver. There's a cover on the bed that I noticed that reveals the tank and the fuel pump. But like I said, of course, the Manufacturer put a crossbeam right over the fuel pump. So the tank has to be drained and dropped.
