was it a reman PCM its possible that it is defective ....//let me look to see if its hard wired or bused over to the cluster
Yes its a remanufactured unit. Also my truck will not stay running unless is at operating temperature.
it shows the the tach is a dedicated wire to the cluster in the C3 connector pin 31..can't find the diagram with the pin outs to show you
the running issue may be that all the sensor values were reset and it still is learning ...you may need to clean the throttle body to help this along
ok so you may have an issue with the reman PCM then I would get another one it should be under warrenty
Could it be a fuse that is causing the tach not to work?
it shows the same fuse powers up the speedo and volt meter
The fuse is fine but replaced it anyway. As far as the PCM, I can't return it right now because my car is in the Body shop and the truck is the only thing I have to drive.
