Asked by CountryMan92 Aug 06, 2015 at 10:33 AM about the 1997 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT Club Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've been working on my Ram for a week now. I've swapped out the distributor cap and rotor, the ignition coil is good, wires and hoses are all fine, i dont have a scan tool so i cant figure out off hand what else is wrong. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the Timing, see if you have spark, check fuel pressure, make sure you have the battery grounded the all the cables are cleaned well and you have 12 Volts.
