1997 dodge ram 1500 wont shift gear's 30
40 miles a hr it just raps out? Happened out
of no were?  Easy fix?

Is definitely is an internal problem. Could be a sensor in the valve body. Could be a broken snap ring in the direct drive clutch pack in the tranny.

    We have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.2. Tranny was working fine 2 days ago, yesterday it wouldn't shift in to OD. The OD on/off light in dash works when you push button. Any help??
