What is going on with my gauges?

I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9L automatic trans, that every now and then will be driving down the road and the gauges go to zero and then go back to working right away...? What is the deal...? Has anyone run into this...? How do I repair it, it is very annoying...

possible circuit board on the cluster or just a connector issue.
