98 ram 1500 dies on right turns

Asked by madchops11 Oct 25, 2014 at 07:21 PM about the 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 ST Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After a tune up and new fuel filter, my 98 ram 1500 dies during right turns while in forward
motion, i.e. highway on/off ramp or green light, but not from a dead stop such as a stop
sign or red light.

check electrical connections. if you have had a tune up, maybe something didn't get hooked up properly. also make sure the battery connections are good. the force of the turn could be stopping something from making contact.
