I Have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 2 wheel drive that the govenor pressure
sensor is going out and the transmission wont shift properly. I was wondering
if I take the one out of my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 will it work.

yes they both use the same sensor. Look on EBAY to order both or simply look up the part number on your favorite Auto part online store, and you will see they both use the same part
