freeze plug replacement

I am replacing​ all these things the water
pump radiator and finally figured out it was
two freeze plugs and am having trouble
getting them on

May have to remove a motor mount, starter, inner fender, anything in the way. Prop up the motor with a jack stand or jack or block it up. They make a rubber plug with plates, bolts in so if you do not have room to hammer new one in. May not last as long a metal plug. Alternative is taking out he motor.
