I have a99 dodge ram 1500 that I just bought and within 3 months transmission all at on time not little by little started takin off in third, replaced filter and oil still doin it. thanx God bless

I replaced the solenoid because it wouldn't shift into overdrive without letting off the throttle. If you have the truck looked at and it's believed that's the problem, it's no trouble to change. The parts are @$200. If you're unsure, you might want to find a "U-Pullit type yard and get one for @$40 Check out YouTube for a little tutorial on the procedure.
