Truck wont start ofter boost

I had to boost my truck it started took cable of it
died now all it will do when you turn key on is the
light all come on and blink with the security light it
wont turn over or even try to start

It sounds as if is started with a bad alternator the battery is also in question. Booster cables are usually not good enough to crank an engine without help from the battery, I would charge or better yet change the battery then see what happens.

    I have a 2008 dodge ram 1500 hemi. All of the sudden it wont start it turns over but never catches. Replaced the crank sensor and egr valve. Any ideas?
