Truck want start

Asked by Max Mar 20, 2013 at 04:06 PM about the 2000 Dodge RAM 1500 ST Quad Cab RWD

When you turn the key, looks like it is full powered up. Try to start, just clicks and all lights go out like battery dead. Take off positive cable and reattach, lights come back on.  Had starter tested and fine.

take the battery cables off, and clean the rust off of the terminals. then reattach them
