see if the bolts are loose. if there tight then you might need a gasket, make sure that if you put new gasket in you seal the gasket to pan with nice bead of 3M whether trim adheasive yellow and black silicone on the gasket to tranny side this makes sure there will be no leak. when you put 3M on it make nice bead between holes and around all bolt holes. use ATF +4 for dodges
For some transmissions you can get a rubber gasket. They seal better than the cork gaskets and are reusable. I do NOT like using any gasket sealer on gaskets. Maybe a small dab of weatherstrip adhesive to stick the gasket to the sealing surface, but that is all. A proper gasket will maintain seal by itself without sealers if the fasteners are properly torqued. Also it is very easy to get the transmission pan bolts too tight which will result in a leak and a bent pan.
I use wix filters and gaskets for my transmission, seems to do the trick well. Probably your gasket is leaking. Also bolts need to be tightened to spec. You can find the torque specs for them in a Haynes manual or online.
April 2018. My '09 1500 SE had a pan leak that turned out to be a forming defect that cracked the metal where it bent over to form the bottom. Dealer agreed and replacement was in warranty. (Lifetime Power-train)
