clutch fan needs replaced should i replace it or replace it w/electric fan for better performance & gas milage?

It depends on where you drive. If your mostly on the highway, an electric fan will stay off and save a little. If you're urban driving the electric fan would be on the majority of the time. --- Replacing the clutch fan is a bolt on. Installing a electric fan would entail additional wiring and a thermostat. A override so you could turn it on during A/C operation would be a plus. --- I would replace with another clutch fan.

Question I've got a 2008 dodge ram 1500 big horn 5.7 replaced clutch fan. Now I'm getting a wining sound .auto zone gave me high performance one! Said that was the replacement. I think it should be stock one. Opinions? ?
