How do you replace the alternator in a 2001 Dodge 1500 Ram pickup?

If it is a v-8, you need to make sure you remove the battery cable, then remove the tension on the pulley that is on the passengers side, it swivels out of the way to let you remove the belt, take a picture of how the belt is routed....it should be on the right side of the radiator support also if it isnt gone, then after the tension is removed, and belt, just remove the top and bottom bolts, pretty easy.
