dash light wont come on

Did you check to see if the dash light dimmer changes brightness or at least turns them back on? Its the wheel located next to the headlight switch. Rotate up and it also turns on the interior and load lights. Turn down and it dims the dash lights. All the way down and it shuts dash lights off.
